Pine Island Eagle

To the editor:

The Wounded Warrior Event April 12-13 was very successful! Without the help of supporters and volunteers the events would not be possible!

The Pine Island Eagle, along with Meghan McCoy, has been an integral part of the organization's growth and bringing knowledge to the public about the Wounded Warriors and their families.

The boat captains on this event: Tony Rogers, Antoine LaChapelle, Tom McNeal, William Morrison, Dean Calhoun, John Higgins, Guy Lee ,George Patton and David Souders., donate their boats, gas, time and respect!

Spa33 closes their doors to the public to treat the caregivers and spouses to treatments like massage, manicures, facials, hair and makeup.

Tim Smith, along with his Co. The Folsom Group donated the rods and reels, The warriors keep them, so they may continue to fish.

Lisa and Darrell Dence at The Old Fish House donated breakfast on both days to the warriors, caregivers and captains, a fish fry, music and its incredible employees that work 12-15 hours per day. This is homeport. Last, but not least, they cater lunch to the caregivers at Spa33.

Miceli's host of the Captains dinner arranged to give the organization a great discount along with wonderful surroundings.

Bill Stoelker Of Angler's Inn makes it possible for the warriors and their family's to have a wonderful place to stay.

Erin Brophy and her daughter Savannah work tirelessly to bring knowledge and funds.

The Mayor of Cape Coral John Sullivan gives of his time and caring to welcome the warriors.

Dee at Center Bait and Tackle for furnishing all of the bait.

There is a lot of people that come together and form a family that cares and gives back to the Wounded Warriors, far to many to mention by name.

Please know how important you all are! A big thank you to the warriors, caregivers and children for your sacrifice to our country!

What would it take for you to help a warrior?
