The Nimble Thimble Quilt and Needlework Guild of Pine Island Cove will host its annual quilt show and sale next week.
This year the quilt show and sale will be held Monday, March 18, from 12:30-3 p.m., at the Clubhouse, which is located in Pine Island Cove on Gulfgate Lane.
Ethel Tautkus began the guild in 1988 after she moved to the island the year before. She said she started the guild with six women who did not know much about quilting.
