A Texas resident, who is a singer and songwriter, will perform his music at Bert's Bar & Grill next week.
Hank Woji said although he has toured Florida for the past five or six years, this will only be his second time performing at Bert's.
"I am no stranger to the Gulf Coast," he said.
Hank Woji will perform at Bert’s Bar on Wednesday, March 20, at 7 p.m.
Woji has toured Florida at least three or four times a year since 2005 due to having family living Fort Myers.
His performance Wednesday, March 20, at 7 p.m., will include 75 percent of his own music, which he describes as Americana - roots, folk and country.
Woji has produced three CDs as a songwriter, with his fourth, "Holy Ghost Town," due for release next month.
Woji, like many musicians, started playing when he was a kid. His career started as a bassist with rock 'n roll bands before moving to Terlingua, Texas, in 2001 when he started writing songs.
He said he lives in a little desert community right on the Mexican border, which is a great, little community for singers and artists.
"It is a great place to sit and write," Woji said.
