To the editor:
The week following our Garden Club's Gala, there was a very nice article in the Eagle about our yearly big money raiser ... the gala! It was very successful. This was due to the hard work of most of our members and very many other people. I had one problem with the article ... Brian Maclean, the second VP who was in charge of the whole gala, was not mentioned. He set up a very helpful computer site. He did a fantastic job for months organizing and planning the event. He even went so far as to spend the Friday night prior to the "big day" at the park (after allowing vendors to set up their equipment) to ensure that it was safe! Kudos, Brian! You did a great job! I know it wasn't easy.
