Michele Wehrwein Albion is the author of The Florida Life of Thomas Edison, The Quotable Edison and her most recent book, The Quotable Henry Ford. Visiting Southwest Florida is like coming home again for her because during the 1990s she was the curator at the Edison and Ford Winter Estates. Albion believes that history can't be boring because the past is full of fascinatingly quirky characters, and if nothing else, both Edison and Ford were both fascinating and quirky.

Bring your e-reader or other device to this class. This is a two hour class in which use of electronic materials from the Download Depot will be demonstrated. Book Discussion: Second Person Singular by Sayed Kashua

1:30 p.m., Thursday, March 28

A lawyer and a caretaker with similar backgrounds follow different paths in contemporary Jerusalem with the same motivation: to leave their small Arab lives behind and be accepted for the new personas they created. With enormous emotional power, and a keen sense of the absurd, Kashua spins a tale of love, betrayal and honesty, and questions whether it is possible to truly reinvent ourselves. Second Person Singular is a complex psychological mystery and a searing dissection of the individuals that comprise a divided society.
