To the editor:
I was having a conversation with my mother about an old shrimping boat that her father built in 1985. I decided to do some research on the web, and came across your article (If this is even the correct address) titled "Lake is Mangrove Gallery's featured artist for the month," in the Pine Island Eagle. On it, you say something about David Lake, a local shrimper, and owner of the Seminole Trader. We know from conversations her father had with the original owner that that was the name of the boat (after having been changed from another name that her father picked.) I found a picture of it online, and she confirmed that it is actually the correct boat. I'm trying (in vain) to get her into contact with whoever owns it. Is there any information at all that could help me get into contact with the owner, or his (at the time of writing the article) wife Joyce? I would appreciate all the help possible. This is a part of my, and her, history. We don't want to try to claim anything on it, we just want to be able to talk to the man, share a story maybe, and talk to someone that her father knew before he passed away.
I appreciate any and all information, firstname.lastname@example.org.
