Deborah Kerr-Conley earned the Pine Island Art Association Best in Show Award for Miss Honeybelle during the 41st Annual Art Show and Sale Feb. 8 and 9.
She began painting 20 years ago while raising a family and teaching school.
"I began using watercolor and still prefer it to other mediums because of the light and transparency," Kerr-Conley said.
Deborah Kerr Conley won best of show during the 41st Annual Art Show and Sale earlier this month for Miss Honeybelle.
She also paints will oils, pastels and inks.
Now retired, Kerr-Conley enjoys life with her husband Charlie. She paints everyday and participates in classes and activities with the Pine Island Art Association.
