To the editor:
Yes, Mr. Jacobs, it is irresponsible to vote on the fluoride issue without being informed. Eligible voters owe it to themselves to become informed! Go to www.citizensforsafewater.org. Cast an informed responsible ballot.
The fluoride debate has been going on since the 1930s. Recent data (since at least 1975 onward) has begun to show just how dangerous it is to add Fluoride to our water. I have been here 15 years and have always been told just how wonderful is. What happened this year to suggest that our water needs the addition of toxic fluoride? What is the hurry?
Just to let you know that because I and others oppose the fluoridation of our water, does not make us less responsible or active in our community.
Many of us have spent numerous hours reading the studies done by the most esteemed scientists in the World and have come to the conclusion that fluoride is a dangerous addition to our water.
Remember, only those people who have water meters in their name can vote, if there are two names on the certificate only one can vote. People who live in condominiums or RV parks cannot vote.
