Spots still available for Michael English Golf Memorial Scramble

Spots are still available for the annual Michael English Golf Memorial Scramble this weekend, which will be held at Alden Pines Country Club.

Sign-up sheets are available in the box marked "golf information" in the front of the Elks Lodge. The entry form, along with $50 per player registration fee, can be dropped off at the Elks Lodge, Century 21 or Coastal Realty.

The registration fee includes all golf course fees, lunch and two drinks at the Elks Lodge. Checks should be made payable to the GPI Elks and mail to P.O. Box 248, St. James City, FL 33956.

The scramble will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, with a shotgun start of 8:30 a.m.

The prizes include 1st place $200, 5th place $100, 10th place $60, hole #3 closest to pin $50 and hole #4 closest to the line $50.

Proceeds from the golf scramble will benefit Pine Island Elks charities.
