To the editor:
The upcoming Nov. 6 election results will shape the future of our country.
This election is not about your job, your entitlements, your tax rate, your health care or your medicare. And it is not about preserving Pine Island. It is about something vastly more important -whether the United States of America will survive as the Founding Fathers envisioned.
President Obama made many promises, most of which have gone unfulfilled, fortunately. Unfortunately, his promise to fundamentally change America is well on its way to becoming reality.
This election is also not about your political ideology. It is about your sense of pride in being an American. A vote for Mitt Romney does not make you a Republican, it makes you a concerned American.
America or Obama? You can't have both. Wake up America! Ask yourself how the founders would vote and make the wise choice on election day.
