Cat of the Week

October 24, 2012
Pine Island Eagle

Baby is a handsome 9-year-old black and white smoke kitty. For people who don't read a lot of cat magazines, that means he has a white undercoat that shows through the black fur. It's beautiful and I think Baby knows it! His former owner had to move in with family, but the transition has been a piece of cake for baby. He walked into the shelter and made himself right at home. Because he is naturally social, curious and affectionate, he needs a home where he won't be bored. If you like to include your pet in your activities, I think Baby is the kitty for you. Give us a call, he's already packed! Don't forget October 27th is "Make A Difference Day!" If you would like to "Make a Difference" for Helping Paws Animal Sanctuary, please bring your donation of cat food, scoopable cat litter, or money to the shelter. We will be collecting items all week in our donation box outside or inside during business hours. We want to thank everyone who has worked to collect donations for this event, especially Nancy Benjamin who has made us her "pet project!"
