The Chrome Diva's are hosting a poker walk this weekend in Matlacha to raise money for the March of Dimes, Biker's for Babies event.
Donta Morris, who founded the Cape Coral/Fort Myers Chapter of Chrome Divas in 2004, is holding the event at the Olde Fish House Marina Sunday, Oct. 7.
Registration for the poker walk is $5 and can be done at the Olde Fish House the day of the event. The poker walk, which is held from 1-3 p.m., will include the destinations of Pine Bay Gallery, Matlacha Menagerie, Traders Hitching Post and Frill's in Matlacha.
"We will be playing for the best hand," Morris said.
She said each person who participates in the walk has the opportunity to win prizes from each location, as well as a cash prize for the best hand.
The event will also include a silent auction that is open to everyone who attends the event at the Olde Fish House Marina from 1-5 p.m., as well as a 50/50 raffle and games. A fish fry for $6 and live music will also be a part of the event.
