Kiwanis is calling out Pine Island artists

The Kiwanis Club of Greater Pine Island is looking for submissions of artwork for this years design for the popular Tervis Tumbler fund-raiser. The artwork chosen will be considered a donation to the club and will be the seventh in the series.

Tervis Committee Chairperson Robin Parmerlee said the club is looking for a local artist to design something that will make you think of our beautiful and unique island every time you look at it.

All funds raised by the sales of these tumblers are strictly used for the club's scholarships. Kiwanis has raised over $20,000 in the past six years from the Tervis sales.

The deadline for submissions is Friday, Aug. 31. Please send submissions via email to Photos should be in high resolution at least 300 DPI. Any questions can be directed to Robin at 558-2089.
