The Pine Island pool will be closed on March 3 for lifeguard training. All Lee County pools will be closed that day. Also, it is time to sign up for Spring swim lessons. Lessons will begin on Sat. March 24 and run for eight weeks, ending on May 12. A preschool will be offered at 10 a.m., guppy level at 11 a.m. and snapper level at 1 p.m. You can sign up online at www.leeparks.org or call the pool at 283-2220 for questions.
