To the Editor:
We moved to Cubles Drive less than six months ago, happy to be here, happy with the quiet neighborhood and our renovated little home until recently. We thought a little dirt lane would be totally charming, however, we have learned it can be a real nightmare. Despite posted speed limit signs, numerous people disregard them sending huge, rolling clouds of dust from the road billowing sky high. (You know who you are.) Where do you suppose all that dust goes?
I know people are so busy and have places to go from 5:15 a.m. on through the day, but we would like to ask you, our new neighbors, to please take an extra 30 to 60 seconds and go a little more slowly on the dirt section of our road to spare us the constant, awful dust storms from blowing through our home. We would do it gladly out of consideration for you. We don't think it's too much to ask. If you see rolling clouds of dust in your rear view mirror, please take a moment and slow down a little bit. Thank you so much.
