William "Bill" Marvin, 81, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, surrounded by his family in his Ft. Collins, Colo., home.
Bill is survived by his wife of 60 years, Audrey; three children, Dave (Lindy), Bob (Karin), Jim (Pat); four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Bill was born in Rochester, Minn. He, Audrey and their three boys moved to Ft. Collins in 1963. In 1992 they moved to Pine Island and then returned to Ft. Collins in 2010.
Bill was a journeyman sheet metal worker and welder during the first phase of his working life. In 1968 he left the trades and went into the real estate business. He built a very successful brokerage, retiring in 1982 to focus on the management of his many properties and to travel with Audrey.
Bill was an avid outdoorsman and traveler. He loved time with family and friends.
A celebration of Bill's life will be held at a future date in Ft. Collins.
