Raymond “Ray” Michael Hoxsey

Raymond "Ray" Michael Hoxsey, 70, a Cape Coral resident since 1965, formerly of Pensacola, Fla., died Jan. 11, 2012. He was born Dec. 18, 1941, in Honolulu to the late Clifford and Lucille (Horlick) Hoxsey.

Ray was the former owner, operator and real estate broker at Century 21 AAIM Realty Group with six offices in Lee County as well as being a U.S. Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Vicki Hoxsey of Cape Coral; a daughter, Shannon King of Fort Myers; three stepchildren, Candy (Donn) Fuller of Fort Myers, Debra Caine of Middletown, Ind., and Rick Vance and his girlfriend Kristin Stauffer, also of Fort Myers; a sister, Gloria (Don) Strouble of Cape Coral; as well as four grandchildren, Kristi Clemons, Kyle Gasber, Julianna King and Preston King; in addition to three great-grandchildren, Cole, Owen and Brodey Clemons.

Ray was preceded in death by a brother Clifford Hoxsey.

In accordance with Ray's wishes, no formal services will be held and memorial contributions are suggested to Hope Hospice, 9470 Healthpark Circle, Fort Myers, FL 33908.
