‘Nonsense as usual’ just won’t cut it

To the Editor:

Egypt fell. Violence and unrest spreading throughout the world. Governments in great numbers on the verge of being dismantled. And disingenuous politicians everywhere heading for the hills. The big question is: what are the elements that led to the propagating of a world in turmoil ... a world about to explode! Frankly, even the most uneducated eye can easily discern what has led to the mayhem and madness.

In all instances we see people without homes, unemployment out of control ... and producing unrest, unhappiness, and anger. Citizens hungry and unable to feed their families, and thru it all politicians ignoring the pain of the people ... while babbling 'business as usual' nonsense.

When we add to this wild spending, an unsustainable debt level, and governments being unproductive...spending their time denigrating one another instead of working together to solve the problems, we then have a climate ripe and ready to burst. The growing unrest around the world should serve as an example to our representatives that 'nonsense as usual' just won't cut it any more. We're fed up with the pomposity, the arrogance, the lies and the lack of productivity. We demand that our elected officials become creative problem solvers. And we insist on an end to the bowing, apologizing around the world, and especially the weakening of our nation. Be careful politicians...we're watching the rest of the world, we see obvious parallels, and we're coming to the end of our rope!
