Betty Jane "Bge" Wahrenby, 88, of Matlacha died Dec. 25, 2001. Born Sept. 6, 1923 in Chicago, Il., she had been a long time resident of Matlacha, "Bge" was an avid fan of Notre Dame football and a member of the Matlacha mermaids. She will be sorely missed by her many friends. Services will be private. Arrangements by Coral Ridge Funeral Home.
