Eugene H. Franklin, 74, of St. James City, FL passed away on Wednesday Nov. 30, 2011. Gene was a veteran of the U. S. Army and retired Construction Superintendent with Folsom Construction Co., Lakeland, FL, an avid fisherman, a member of the Edison/Ford S.W. Region of the Model A Restorer's Club and the Model T. Club of America.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years Sharon, daughters Renee and Stacy; sons Adrian and Ronnie; sister Cara Franklin and many grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother Joe Neal.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 11, at his residence.
