The advance-sale tickets for the 15th annual MangoMania Tropical Fruit Festival that takes place on July 30 and 31 on the grounds at the German-American Club are now available at several locations on Pine Island. TIB Bank is offering the tickets for sale at all their branches in Lee County including Fort Myers, Cape Coral, and Pine Island. The tickets are also available at Stonegate Bank (previously SW Capital Bank) and SunTrust Bank here on the island as well as the Pine Island Chamber of Commerce Welcome Center.
MangoMania is shaping up to be an exciting two-day festival this year. Live entertainment is scheduled throughout the event, and includes local favorites Soap Box, Mike Iambasciani, Stringtown, Caribbean Clint, and the Mary Winters Band, with performances each day by the dance groups the Hot Flashz, the Calendar Girls, and the Arthur Murray Dancers.
Guests can join in the tropical hat parade each day, participate in one of the games or contests, prepare you favorite mango recipe for the food judging competition, taste local mangoes and other tropical fruit, and experience “All Things Mango.”
