Arlene May Gloner, 81, of Cape Coral, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2011. She was born on Aug. 18, 1929 in Gorham, NH to Delward and Alice Harvey Rowe. She moved to Pine Island in 1959. Arlene was an avid tennis player and instructor, she swam two miles a day, worked out and line danced, all until she was 80 years “young.” She had a horse named, BoJeBeTe, after her four children.
She is survived by her loving family including her daughters, Bevvie-Del (Max) Ende of Largo, FL and Teddi Deidre (Scott) Malone of Cape Coral; 12 grandchildren, Marshelle Pasho Evans, William “Markie” Pasho, Peter Delward Pasho, Brian Damian Wambolt, Mysti Dawn Wambolt Wilson, Elmer Vincent Gloner, Stephen Russell Ende, Phillip Michael Ende, Angeleena Joelene Ende, Raymond Lee Gloner, Chantel Nicole Malone, Scott “Sammy” Alan Malone, Jr.; and 16 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husband, Elmer Lee Gloner who passed away in 1981, her daughter, Bonnie Lee Wambolt Pasho, her son, Jerry Earl Wambolt, Jr. and grandson, Jerry “Jay” Earl Wambolt, III.
The funeral was at 1 p.m. on Saturday March 26, with visitation starting at 11 a.m. at Coral Ridge Funeral Home, 1630 SW Pine Island Rd., Cape Coral.
