A memorial service for Mable Baker, who passes away at age 93, will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010 at 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Pine Island with Pastor Clint Miller officiating. Mable passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010 at her home in Bokeelia following a short illness. Burial was at Defoe Cemetery, Henry County, KY.

She was a native of Henry County, Kentucky and was born May 12, 1916. She retired from the Franklin County School System in Kentucky. She had lived on Pine Island since 2001 and she was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pine Island, Avenue D, Bokeelia.

She is survived by her sons, Gene T. (Ethel) Baker of Bokeelia, Robert A. (Linda) Baker of Shelbyville, KY and Lyle W. Baker of Frankfort, KY, 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
