To the editor:

Responding to our rummage sale items being swiped from our storage shed, the good folks of Pine Island brought in enough items to replace the amount stolen. Thanks to all of our great helpers, donators and most of all, our customers. The Jan. 23 St. James City Civic rummage sale was our best ever! There are two sales yet this season. Saturday, Feb. 13, our Museum of the Islands sale, with coffee and donuts, and Saturday, March 13, our SJCC sale with the “big breakfast.”

Bring in your rummage items and we just might set a new record!
