Stay vigilant

To the Editor:

Whew! It’s August. That was close. We dodged the bullet this time. We, the people, influenced the politicians enough to stop the vote on government-run health care for now, but be vigilant! Listen, read and talk to your family, friends and co-workers. Obama wants socialized medicine. It is a matter of power and control.

Out of the 191 countries reviewed, the World Health Organization ranks the U.S. #1 in responsiveness to patient’s needs.

Be aware of what this House Bill proposes. Wouldn’t you prefer having you, your family and your doctor of choice making decisions re: your health, or would you prefer a Washington bureaucrats deciding your fate?
