A couple of minor corrections to the article: my family has not lived on Pine Island for 120 years but did purchase property in the Pine Island Sound area (Cayo Costa) and Lemon Bay area in 1890s. Family moved to Bokeelia from Cayo Costa in 1942. 2nd, Albert Owen Spearing was the brother of William B. Spearing, not his nephew.
