ClamJam of Southwest Florida Seafood & Music Festival

Radikal Productions will again host the Annual ClamJam of Southwest Florida Seafood & Music Festival Saturday, Jan. 27, from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m., and Sunday, Jan. 28, from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. The event will take place at The German American Social Club of Cape Coral at 2101 Pine Island Road.

Children 12-and-under are free, onsite parking is free and a program guide will be available. No coolers anon pets (service dogs only). The ClamJam is a rain or shine event.
ClamJam of Southwest Florida Seafood & Music Festival will feature over 100 craft vendors and 8 to 10 specially selection food vendors with fresh local seafood from local fishermen. Locally harvested clams and shellfish, and other seafood dishes will be offered. There will also be food available. Check the website for list of foods being offered at the event.
The two full days of live entertainment will feature blues, funk, rock, country and folk., see website for band bios and schedule. Ice cold Budweiser beers will be offered (come and meet the Bud Girls) along with local craft beers and special mixed adult drinks.
There will be cooking demonstrations by Chef Warren, award-winning author of Table for Two: “Back For Seconds” and “Cooking Outside the Lines.” Also making an appearance will be Spencer Taliaferro, a mixologist from Miami.
Fishing and boating seminars will be offered by Capt. Terry Fisher from Fish Face Charters and more.
New to this year’s event is the Professional Chef’s Clam Chowder Cook-off Contest — Saturday will be the New England and Sunday will be the Manhattan. Attendees do the judging with a “People’s Choice” category. If you are a chef and have a certified kitchen and would like to enter our professional chef’s cook-off contest, contact us.
ClamJam is family-friendly event with children’s activities including rock climbing, face painting, bounce houses and rides.
The organizers support non-profits organizations. ClamJam will be partnering with Bridge Community Church, the official water and soda vendor with funds going to the Children’s Program & New Building Fund; the Randell Research Center, which will be displaying Calusa Indian history; GST’s Sun State Greyhound Adoption Organization; The German American Social Club of Cape Coral;, Calusa Land Trust; Matlacha Mariners; free hearing exam by Songs for Sound; and Cat Adoption by Pine Island Helping Paws.
